Notes of 5, 10, and 50 Dirhams were introduced in 1965. In 1970 a 100 Dirhams note was introduced. In 1991 a 200 Dirhams note was introduced. The government replaced 5 Dirhams notes with a coin in 1980. In 1995 10 Dirhams note was replaced with a coin.

At the time of the bank’s 50th anniversary, it introduced a 50 Dirhams note. In 2012 a 25 Dirham banknote was introduced.

In August 2013 bank revised the notes and introduced a new series of banknotes. And in 2019 bank introduced a 20 Dirhams note. Bank-note of 20, 50, 100, and 200 Dirhams are common in use.

Bank introduced notes of 2, 5, 10, and 100 rupees in 1953. In 1957 a 50 rupee’s note was introduced. State Bank issued the 500 rupees currency-note in 1986. In 2005 note of 20 rupees was introduced.
