VND to PKR

VND is the currency of Vietnam, and PKR is the currency of Pakistan. The exchange rate of both of these currencies keeps on changing all the time. The change is due to the varying condition of economies of both countries along with many other factors. Let's explore all of it here.

VND

VND stands for Vietnamese Dong. The currency was created on  May 3, 1978. The currency code for Vietnamese Dong is VND, while the currency symbol is "d". It was initially introduced in 1946 in Northern Vietnam by the government. Vietnamese Dong replaced the piastra of the French Indochina. The currency was revalued in 1951 and then later on in 1958.

In 1953, the piastras and dongs were printed in the form of banknotes in South Vietnam. The Dong replaced the old currency on 22nd September 1975. The new Dong became the new currency of Vietnam after their reunification on 3rd May 1978.

The National Bank of Vietnam circulates the currency in the form of coins and banknotes. The banknotes are circulated in denominations of 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10,000, 20,000, 50,000, 100,000, 200,000 and 500,000. The coins are circulated in the denominations of 200, 500, 1000, 2000, and 5000, which are created in Finland.

The Vietnamese Dong is depreciating rapidly due to several reasons. The National Bank of Vietnam reduced the reference rate, which causes the Dong to fluctuate easily. The economy of Vietnam is still not stable and is new in the world, so the currency is not stable yet as well. The economy is mainly controlled by the government, which means that the decision of the government impacts it significantly. It also refrains investors from investing in the Vietnam market.

The corruption is another cause of the currency devaluation. It leads to restrictions in foreign investment.

PKR

PKR stands for Pakistani Rupees. Rp denotes it. In 1947, the Pakistani Rupee replaced the Indian Rupees. The Pakistani Rupee was initially pegged to the British Pound until 1982. But the government decided to introduce the floating policy, which resulted in a financial crisis. The economy of Pakistan is very poor and unstable.

The currency is circulated in the form of coins and banknotes. The coins are circulated in the denomination of Rs 1, 2, and 5. On the other hand, banknotes are also circulated in the denominations of Rs 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1000, and 5000.

The currency is devalued due to unstable relations with other countries and corrupt global image. The lack of foreign reserves is also a cause of the devaluation in the currency.

VND and PKR

VND is a weaker currency as compared to PKR. The rate of exchange fluctuates depending upon different economic factors. VND is weaker and is devaluing due to an unstable economy and poor relations with other countries. The currency is relatively new, so investors are skeptical about investing in the market. Whereas PKR is also weak, and Pakistan has poor relations with the other countries but has a slower devaluation rate than VND.

The exchange rate of VND to PKR is around 0 PKR, which means that out of 10,000 VND, we can only get 0 Rupees. Now you can know the value of VND well.
